These fine looking Stems are made in Melbourne by artist Teresa Lane under her label “La Boutique Fantasque”.
The
skills of cutting stone, ceramic and glass she picked up in Idar-Oberstein, Germany
during an artist residency in the wintertime a few years ago. The cup appreciation she
inherited from her mother as the 1966 wedding gifts of Japanese coffee
sets are proudly displayed as the household centerpiece to this day. These assemblages are a game of colour, proportion, balance, grace and function.
Stems are
suitable for drinking everything from cognac to coffee, breakfast cereal to affagatos and everything inbetween. It is ideal to hand
wash these beauties and rinse them straight away.
